With 48 unique discussion topics and more than 90 virtual trade show exhibitors, the 2020 KHA Virtual Convention and Trade Show offered “virtually” everything an in-person event would, but at a safe social distance.
PYA Senior Manager Susan Thomas and Compliance Consultant Erin Walker co-hosted one of the roundtable discussions on “HIPAA Privacy in 2020 and the Impact of the Pandemic,” Thursday, October 22nd. The discussions fostered communication around current hot topic issues and how other hospitals are approaching them. Each session provided an overview of an issue and then was opened up for dialogue and participant exchange.
The live-hosted virtual event took place Oct. 21-23. PYA had a virtual booth at this conference as well.
