PYA University (PYAU) has been part of the PYA infrastructure for nearly two decades. Opportunities include in-person events and access to a library of on-demand e-courses. The PYAU curricula consists of a variety of topics—presentation skills, leadership training, communications, etc.—specifically structured toward positive career development.
The Accelerator Program:
The Accelerator Team is a PYA leadership initiative for high-performing and high-potential professionals intended to enhance training and foster development of new leaders across the Firm. Team members participate in workshops on a variety of career-enhancing skills and work hand-in-hand with PYA’s senior team of business development leaders to polish their proposal-writing skills.
We offer webinars, continuing education (for CPE credit), and lunch-n-learns on everything from the effective use of social media to job-specific instruction. Free sessions are held throughout the year on-site or via video.
Giving back is a part of the PYA fabric. PYA encourages its employees to engage in community service efforts to contribute to the greater good.
The Firm donates thousands of hands-on service hours each year. Community service is such a vital component of who we are, we provide paid time off to encourage employee volunteerism.
As a Firm, we have partnered with such organizations as: Big Brothers Big Sisters, the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, Random Acts of Flowers, Second Harvest Food Bank, Habitat for Humanity, Salvation Army, and St. Jude, to name a few.
