PYA Takes Part in AHLA Fraud and Compliance Institute

PYA will be among leading private practitioners and representatives from the Office of Counsel to the Inspector General, the Department of Justice, and the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services at this year’s American Health Lawyers Association (AHLA) Fraud and Compliance Institute. The program takes place October 6-7, 2014, at the Hilton Baltimore Hotel, Baltimore, MD.

In addition to exhibiting at the event, PYA will sponsor both the Fraud and Abuse Practice Group Luncheon and the conference eProgram.

Be sure to stop by the PYA booth to pick up your complimentary 340B Program Compliance: Self-Assessment Checklist, which provides a comprehensive outline of the components you need to self-assess including:

  • 340B Program Infrastructure
  • Duplicate Discounts
  • Covered Entity Eligibility
  • Patient Eligibility
  • Contract Pharmacy Arrangements
  • Procurement and Inventory
  • 340B Program Intent and Community Benefit

You will also find more information about 340B in an article PYA authored for the AHLA 2014 Health Care Compliance Resource Guide, “340B Program: Scrutiny and Uncertainty Increase the Need for Compliance.”

If you would like more information about healthcare compliance or to request a speaker on this topic for your organization or event, contact Shannon Sumner or Denise Hall at PYA, (800) 270-9629.
