Two PYA executives, Jane Jerzak and Jason Hardin, will present at the upcoming Multi-State Managed Care Conference. On April 15-17, healthcare professionals from six states will gather in Georgia to share knowledge and best practices related to managed care. The 2024 conference is hosted by the Georgia Hospital Association Georgia Society for Managed Care (GSMC) and organized by hospital associations from Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Virginia.
On April 16, Jerzak, Principal, and Hardin, Principal and Director of Business Intelligence & Analytics, will present “Navigating the Landscape: Trends and Challenges in Managed Care.” They will discuss site-of-service trends and the magnitude of the reimbursement impact and share PYA’s approach to helping healthcare professionals become decision-ready by using analytics in managed care contracting. Session attendees also will learn about provider and payer payment disputes related to claim denials and reimbursement reductions as well as market trends in Medicare Advantage reimbursement and denials.
The Georgia Hospital Association (GHA) was founded in 1929 and serves 145 hospitals in the state through information and education on issues to improve healthcare for citizens. The GSMC supports GHA’s legislative activities through advocacy and awareness of issues and regulatory changes.
