Compliance Officer Role Evolves in Age of Accountable Care

As care providers collaborate to provide coordinated high-quality care for their Medicare patients, new elements of financial and administrative risks emerge.  Accountable Care Organizations (ACOs) require a new set of rules and create new challenges for the compliance officer.

PYA Principal Martie Ross is the featured guest of an upcoming Health Care Compliance Association Web Conference, “The Evolving Role of the Compliance Officer in the Age of Accountable Care.”  The 90-minute webinar takes place February 27, 2014, at 12 p.m. Central.  Discussion will focus on:

  • Dealing with today’s compliance concerns arising from fee-for-service reimbursement.
  • Understanding Medicare/Medicaid and commercial value-based purchasing programs.
  • Preparing for tomorrow’s compliance issues arising from value-based purchasing.

Compliance Certification Board credits may be earned for this webinar.  For more information and to register, visit the HCCA website.
