The Washington Ambulatory Surgery Center Association (WASCA) is on course to top last year’s attendance at the 2018 Annual Education Conference. Hundreds of participants are expected to take part in the event, which will cover legislative, regulatory, and market updates impacting ambulatory surgery centers (ASCs). From OSHA and HIPAA to the ways in which the opioid epidemic affects ASCs, the sessions will cover an array of subjects pertinent to industry professionals.

Following his presentation at WASCA’s summer symposium, PYA Principal Robert Paskowski has been invited back to speak on “Payer Trends in the ASC Industry,” which will delve into:

• Overall national trends
• Hospital v. ASC comparisons
• ASC “value pitch” to payers
• Price transparency—defining price

The conference will be held November 1-2, 2018, in Tacoma, Washington. Learn more and register.

If you would like more information about payer trends or would like assistance in any matter involving strategic planning, valuation, reimbursement, or buy or sell-side transaction services related to your ASC, please contact one of our PYA executives below at (800) 270-9629.
