We are pleased to announce that PYA will have two speakers at the Georgia Society of CPAs’ 2012 Healthcare Conference, Your Prescription for Success, on February 10 at the Cobb Galleria Centre. Marty Brown and Barbara Grant, (Principals of PYA) will serve as panelists for the Hospital/Physician Integration – Lessons Learned session. Marty and Barbara have over 65 years of combined healthcare experience assisting health systems and physician groups with the ever-changing regulatory environment.
Some observers predict that in the next 10 years as many as 85 percent of the nation’s physicians will be hospital employees. Dan Mohan of Kilpatrick Stockton will join Marty and Barbara in sharing their consulting experiences with hospitals, health systems, and physician groups. In addition to providing insight on creating a strategy to identify potential suitors, developing and evaluating offers, closing the deal, and transition operations, the panelists will offer guidance on avoiding mistakes and complying with legal restrictions.
