HFMA Webinar on Selling Physician Practices

Carol Carden and Lori Foley of PYA gave an online presentation on selling physician practices.  The webinar was sponsored by HFMA’s Region 5, which includes Alabama, Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, and Tennessee.

“I Want to Sell My Practice” offered practice valuation and physician compensation planning considerations for members of the Healthcare Financial Management Association. The session covered valuation approaches, valuing intangible assets, the consideration of provider-based rates within valuations, physician compensation options, treatment of ancillary revenue streams, and rewarding quality through compensation arrangements.
