Kristen is a dynamic and passionate healthcare executive with two decades of diverse experience that spans health system operations, regulatory compliance, human resources, and quality performance improvement. The unique blend of these experiences affords a global perspective with which Kristen is able to develop solutions and lead efforts for resolving complex situations. Kristen is a strategic thinker with strong conceptual and leadership skills for identifying and minimizing obstacles and achieving optimal outcomes. As a national speaker and published author and co-author, Kristen is enthusiastic about her work and helping others.
She has achieved her Master’s in Health Administration (MHA) from the University of Memphis as well as her Bachelor of Science in Health Information Management from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center. Kristen is also a Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional—International (CCEP-I), Certified in Healthcare Compliance (CHC®), a Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) and a Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA®). She is one of few professionals in the nation certified to use the Change Diagnostic Index analytical tool to quantify symptom metrics and identify volatility in individuals and the impact to organizational change initiatives.
Kristen is a member of the American Health Information Management Association, National Association of Healthcare Quality, Healthcare Compliance Association and Tennessee Health Information Management Association. She is also a volunteer for Feed the Homeless, Inc. and City of Refuge, Inc.
