For the ninth year in a row, PYA has been ranked a Top 100 Firm by INSIDE Public Accounting (IPA). PYA has climbed in the ranking each year for the past five years. PYA is the only firm headquartered in East Tennessee to be ranked among the nation’s Top 100 by both IPA and Accounting Today, as announced in March 2024.
The IPA ranking recognizes the Top 500 U.S.-based accounting firms based on net revenues and other data collected from more of the largest U.S. firms than any other industry survey. Now in its 34th year, the ranking is known to reflect the most comprehensive benchmarking data in the industry.

In addition to the IPA Top 100 accolade, in 2023, PYA was named an IPA Best of the Best Firm.
PYA is consistently recognized in other esteemed rankings and recognitions. In its ranking of the Top 100 firms, Accounting Today also named PYA the leader in consulting among U.S. firms under $100 million. The independently owned firm was named by USA TODAY as one of the 2024 Top 100 Most Recommended Tax Firms and Top 100 Most Recommended Accounting Firms, and in 2024, Brown was named a Top 200 CPA by Forbes. Additionally, Modern Healthcare ranked PYA among the Top 20 healthcare consulting firms in the U.S. for 17 years.
