PYA has been named an INSIDE Public Accounting Best of the Best Firm for 2023 in recognition of its visionary strategic leadership, management, and growth.
INSIDE Public Accounting (IPA) compiled its annual list based on data collected from 600 firms that participated in its annual practice management survey. PYA was one of only two firms headquartered in Tennessee to receive the honor, which follows the firm’s recent recognition as an IPA Top 100 Firm for the eighth year in a row. PYA was one of only 5% of firms to be included in both the Best of the Best and Top 100 lists.

In addition to the Best of the Best accolade, PYA was recently ranked for the seventh year as one of the Top 100 CPA firms in the nation in Accounting Today’s 2023 Top 100 Report—remaining one of the Top 10 firms in the Southeast. Also, this year, Forbes again named PYA one of America’s Best Tax and Accounting Firms. PYA was the only firm in the Forbes list headquartered in Knoxville and one of six in the state. PYA was also named a 2023 Knox News “Top Workplace” for the fifth time.
Additionally, Modern Healthcare has ranked PYA among the Top 20 healthcare consulting firms in the U.S. for the past 17 years, and in June 2023, PYA was inducted into The University of Kansas Health System (TUKHS) Hall of Fame, the highest honor bestowed by the health system.
