For the eighth year in a row, PYA has been ranked a Top 100 Firm by INSIDE Public Accounting (IPA). PYA has climbed in the ranking each year for the past four years. PYA is the only firm headquartered in East Tennessee to be ranked among the nation’s Top 100 by both IPA and, as announced in March 2023, Accounting Today.
The IPA ranking recognizes the Top 500 U.S.-based accounting firms based on net revenues and other data collected from more of the largest U.S. firms than any other industry survey. Now in its 33rd year, the ranking is known to reflect the most comprehensive benchmarking data in the industry.

In March, PYA was ranked for the seventh year as one of the Top 100 CPA firms in the nation in Accounting Today’s 2023 Top 100 Report—remaining one of the Top 10 firms in the Southeast. Also, this year, Forbes again named PYA one of America’s Best Tax and Accounting Firms. PYA was the only firm in the Forbes list headquartered in Knoxville and one of six in the state.
Additionally, Modern Healthcare has ranked PYA among the Top 20 healthcare consulting firms in the U.S. for the past 17 years, and PYA has been named a Knox News “Top Workplace” for several consecutive years.
