As we continue to live in a “virtual world” during the pandemic, many organizations have taken their in-person events online. The American Health Law Association (AHLA) hosted a Virtual Fraud and Compliance Forum this year, packed with education that addressed emerging regulatory trends, recent case law and legislative developments, and their effects on legal and compliance practices in healthcare. PYA was pleased to support AHLA’s efforts as a gold sponsor and joined legal counsel, compliance officers, and government representatives for sessions that covered the latest enforcement efforts in the areas of Stark Law, False Claims Act, and the Anti-Kickback Statute.
