On-Demand Webinar: New Medicare Reimbursement Opportunities for Rural Health Clinics

PYA Principal Martie Ross presented “New Medicare Reimbursement Opportunities for Rural Health Clinics” during an on-demand webinar hosted by PYA in conjunction with the Montana Hospital Association.

Medicare now provides fee-for-service reimbursement for care management and other virtual services furnished by rural health clinics (RHC). In this webinar, Martie provides a straightforward explanation of the RHC billing rules for transitional and chronic care management, behavioral health integration, the psychiatric collaborative care model, and remote patient monitoring; identifies necessary investments to provide these services; and quantifies potential revenue.

At the conclusion of the webinar, attendees will:

  • Understand the benefits of care management and other virtual services for Medicare beneficiaries.
  • Appreciate the investment required and the work involved in providing these services in their RHCs.
  • Realize the revenue opportunity presented by these services.
  • Be ready to develop a workplan for implementing these services in their RHCs.
