PYA Welcomes Bobby Stoffle as Tax Principal

PYA is pleased to welcome back Bobby Stoffle as Tax Principal. Stoffle returns to PYA after serving in the same role from 1989-2002. For more than 20 years, he held leadership positions including CEO, President, and Director at Sevier County Bank in Sevierville, TN.

Stoffle has more than 35 years of tax advisory experience and technical expertise with a focus on banking, individuals, and estates. In his leadership roles in the community banking industry, his work included leading capital initiatives, management transitions, company reorganizations, financial reporting, benefit plan initiatives, tax management, and board strategies, as well as managing regulatory relationships, challenges, and strategies.

Stoffle earned Master of Accountancy and Bachelor of Business Administration degrees from the University of Tennessee. He serves on the Financial Institutions Committee of the Tennessee Society of Certified Public Accountants and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He is a board member of the First Community Bank of East Tennessee and the Pregnancy Resource Center of East Tennessee and serves on the Knoxville Estate Planning Council. Bobby is an assistant professor at Carson-Newman University and a veteran of the United States Air Force.
