PYA is pleased to announce the promotion of Annapoorani Bhat to the role of Equity Principal, along with several other promotions effective July 1, 2023.

Bhat joined PYA in 2013 and serves as the Managing Principal of the firm’s Charlotte office. She possesses more than two decades of valuation experience and specializes in the health sciences sector serving providers, payers, and healthcare technology companies.
A published thought leader and speaker, Bhat’s work for PYA’s Strategic & Transaction Solutions Program focuses on the valuation of businesses and assets for transactions, regulatory compliance, financial reporting, and internal strategic planning. Bhat is also an expert in brand valuation, having served some of the most prestigious healthcare organizations in determining the value of their brands.
Bhat earned a Bachelor of Social Sciences degree and a Master of Social Science in Applied Economics degree from the National University of Singapore. She also holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Boston College. She is a member of the American Society of Appraisers (ASA) and is an ASA-accredited senior appraiser in the business valuation discipline. She is a member of the American Health Law Association and the Women Business Leaders of the U.S. Health Care Industry Foundation and a board member of the Union County Library Foundation Board.
