Caldwell Discusses Concierge Medicine at National Compensation Conference

Angie Caldwell, Consulting Principal and Tampa Office Managing Principal, will share thought leadership at the American Association of Provider Compensation Professionals (AAPCP) National Provider Compensation and Workforce Strategy Conference, held April 24-26 in Nashville.

The conference brings together professionals from community hospitals, academic medical centers, healthcare systems, physician practices, and firms specializing in consulting, law, and valuation to discuss provider compensation, optimization, financial alignment, strategy, and workforce management in the healthcare industry.

On April 24, Caldwell and David Kruse, Executive Director of Physician Compensation & Finance at Piedmont Healthcare, will present “Strategies for Success: Navigating Concierge Medicine and Compensating Physicians for Curated Care.” Caldwell and Kruse will discuss the concierge healthcare model, advise on setting subscription fees, assess different compensation models for concierge medicine, and discuss the suitability of concierge medicine for an organization or a particular market. Using a case study analysis, they also will describe the benefits of concierge medicine as a means to improve physician access, reduce physician burnout, and address decreasing reimbursement.

The AAPCP is the largest nonprofit organization in the country devoted to provider compensation, contracting, and alignment. The organization’s members advise and lead organizations on provider compensation, contracting, planning, recruitment, retention, strategy, and valuation.
