PYA has again been named an INSIDE Public Accounting Best of the Best CPA Firm in recognition of its sustained operational excellence and visionary strategic leadership. The 2026 honor is the third time the firm has been included in the highly selective list.
INSIDE Public Accounting (IPA) compiled its annual list based on 35 performance metrics collected from more than 600 firms that participated in its 2026 practice management survey. Only 75 were included in the 2026 Best of the Best list, and among firms with more than $10 million in net revenue, only 60 were selected, including PYA.
PYA was also named an IPA Top 100 Firm for the 11th year in a row in IPA’s 2026 Top 500 report. This year, PYA is one of fewer than 6% of firms to be included in both lists.
According to IPA, “Best of the Best firms demonstrate that sustained success is not defined by scale alone. In addition to the IPA Best of the Best accolade, PYA’s Tax and Accounting services were recognized in 2026 when the firm was again named by USA TODAY as one of America’s Most Recommended Tax and Accounting Firms and as an Accounting Today Top 100 Firm for the 11th year in a row. Additionally, in 2026, six PYA leaders were named by Forbes as Best-in-State Top CPAs, and two were named to the Forbes list of America’s Top CPAs in Valuation.
PYA’s Healthcare Consulting Services are also continually lauded. For the 19th year, Modern Healthcare ranked PYA among the Top 20 healthcare consulting firms in the U.S. In 2026, the firm also launched a national healthcare finance education program for physician leaders in partnership with the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, Haslam College of Business.
