For the 11th year in a row, PYA has been ranked a Top 100 Firm by INSIDE Public Accounting (IPA). PYA is again the only firm headquartered in Knoxville to be ranked among the nation’s Top 100 by both IPA and Accounting Today, as announced in March.
IPA is regarded as North America’s leading independent provider of CPA practice management research, analysis, and insights. Now in its 36th year, the IPA ranking is based on net revenues and other data collected through an industry survey and analysis of more than 600 firms, considered some of the most comprehensive benchmarking data in the industry.

In 2026, PYA also launched a national healthcare finance education program for physician leaders in partnership with the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, Haslam College of Business. Also, for the 19th year, Modern Healthcare ranked PYA among the Top 20 healthcare consulting firms in the U.S.
