On-Demand Webinar: “Medicare Trust Fund — Impact of Avoiding Insolvency”

In August 2021, the Medicare Trustees predicted depletion of the Trust Fund by 2026. In a 45-minute webinar, “Medicare Trust Fund — Impact of Avoiding Insolvency,” PYA Principal Martie Ross and Senior Manager Kathy Reep explored the current status of the funds for both Medicare Parts A and B and potential actions that have been discussed to avoid insolvency. In addition, they looked at the status of legislation in Washington, including the future of sequestration, the potential for other “pay-fors” (or revenue measures needed to pay for new spending) before the end of the year, and provisions under discussion as part of pending legislation that could impact healthcare providers.

The webinar took place on November 10, 2021.
