“Telehealth and Virtual Services Following the Pandemic”

PYA Principal Martie Ross presented at the 2022 Missouri Rural Health Association Conference. After the COVID-19 public health emergency ends, the rules relating to telehealth and virtual services will—for the most part—revert to limited pre-pandemic coverage. Martie’s presentation, “Telehealth and Virtual Services Following the Pandemic,” summarized the changes ahead and highlighted ways providers should re-think their virtual strategies going forward. The discussion focused on:

  • Benefits to patients.
  • Reimbursement opportunities.
  • Staffing and technology needs.

The conference took place in Camdenton, Missouri, August 9-10, 2022. View the presentation slides here.
