PYA Principal Martie Ross presented at the Wyoming 2022 Power of Rural Virtual Healthcare Conference. After the COVID-19 public health emergency ends, the rules relating to telehealth and virtual services will—for the most part—revert to limited pre-pandemic coverage. Martie’s presentation, “Telehealth and Virtual Care After the Pandemic,” summarized the changes ahead and highlight ways providers should re-think their virtual strategies going forward. The discussion focused on:
- Benefits to patients.
- Reimbursement opportunities.
- Staffing and technology needs.
