PYA Staff Initiative Raises $12,000 in Donations for Tornado Relief

PYA Staff Initiative Raises $12,000 in Donations for Tornado Relief PYA has donated $12,000 to the American Red Cross Disaster Relief Services. After multiple tornadoes moved through the central United States December 11, 2021, PYA employees came together to raise funds for Tennessee and Kentucky towns that had been damaged or destroyed by the storms.

“With an office in the Nashville area, our community and those north of us in Kentucky saw the greatest impact from these devastating storms,” said PYA Chief Compliance Officer and Nashville Office Managing Principal Shannon Sumner. “We serve these areas every day, so it was heartbreaking to see the widespread destruction. As a firm, we believe in building and supporting the communities we serve. Our team really felt compelled to help.”

PYA matched all donations made by staff members.

“We were moved that our employees wanted to reach out in some way,” said President and CEO Marty Brown. “Compassion and service are among our core values. Our team’s collaboration to assist our neighbors in need embodies the firm’s spirit of helpfulness.”

PYA serves clients in every state from its headquarters in Knoxville and offices in Nashville. This initiative is one of many demonstrating the firm’s long-term support of local communities.
