PYA is pleased to support and present at the Association of Healthcare Internal Auditors (AHIA) 2023 Annual Conference, September 17-20, in Seattle.
Erin Walker, Senior Staff Consultant, along with PYA alumna and co-presenter Susan Thomas, will present, “How to Find Peace with Managing Tracking Technology and the Impact on HIPAA,” on September 19. They will help session attendees understand how to remain HIPAA-compliant while using tracking technologies and share ways to develop or strengthen an auditing and monitoring plan.
AHIA is “the only professional, specialized association for healthcare internal auditors,” according to its website. The international association helps the auditing community assess and evaluate risk, manage healthcare governance, and direct internal controls through knowledge- and resource-sharing for professionals in a variety of disciplines.
