PYA Senior Manager Kathy Reep spoke at the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants (FICPA) Health Care Industry Conference. This conference focused on discussions around changes to regulations and legislation in the healthcare industry, including financial and accounting information. Kathy’s session, “Federal Regulatory Update,” examined the latest proposed and final rules released by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, including:
- The final inpatient rule for fiscal year 2022.
- The proposed outpatient and physician fee schedule proposed rules.
- Surprise billing.
- Status of the Medicare Trust Fund.
