PYA, a leading healthcare consulting and certified public accounting firm, is pleased to announce the promotions of Heather Martin and Mark Brumbelow to the level of Principal.
PYA has announced the promotion of Senior Managers Heather Martin and Mark Brumbelow to the level of Principal, effective January 1, 2019.
“At PYA, it all starts with client service,” said PYA President Marty Brown. “Heather has been, and continues to be, an instrumental leader within the PYA tax services line. In addition to her valuable leadership qualities, her passion and genuine love for her clients is unmatched.”
Heather Martin, who joined the firm in 2000, assists businesses and individuals with their tax and financial needs, providing clients meaningful financial information to help them make strategic decisions. With experience in transactional tax planning and due diligence, she has worked with multiple entity-types, including LLCs, S Corporations, and sole proprietors.
Martin is involved in multiple local, state, and national professional organizations including the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Tennessee Society of Certified Public Accountants, where she served on the board of directors of the local chapter. She holds a Master of Accountancy from the University of Tennessee.
Mark Brumbelow joined PYA in 2014 and has nearly two decades of experience assisting middle-market, private equity-backed, and public companies located across North America. His industry experience includes manufacturing, for-profit healthcare, construction and development, and transportation. Brumbelow has supported clients in federal and multi-state tax compliance efforts and consulting engagements, domestic tax reporting of both in-bound and international transactions, and review of income tax provision calculations.
Brumbelow is also active in local, state, and national organizations including the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Tennessee Society of Certified Public Accountants. He holds a Master of Accountancy from the University of Tennessee.
