At an upcoming national conference, PYA Principal Valerie Rock will discuss the 2024 Medicare Physician Fee Schedule (MPFS) Final Rule and the changes to Evaluation and Management (E/M) visits. She will be joined by Kristin Bohl, Bass Berry & Sims PLC, to present “Recent E/M Changes and Highlights from the 2024 MPFS Final Rule” during the American Health Law Association’s (AHLA) 2024 Institute on Medicare and Medicaid Payment Issues, held March 20-22 in Baltimore.
The Institute on Medicare and Medicaid Payment Issues is the nation’s premier comprehensive annual program on legal and regulatory issues related to reimbursement. It offers more than 40 hours of instruction in legal, compliance, and operational issues related to federal healthcare payment programs.
On March 21, Rock and Bohl will provide an overview of the changes, that affect split/shared visits, telemedicine, and remote services, to help attendees interpret and apply the new guidelines. They also will cover compliance risks and impacts on physician compensation and patient flow.
