PYA has published a newly updated white paper, “Providing and Billing Medicare for Remote Patient Monitoring.” The white paper includes the latest information providers need to know about reimbursement related to providing and billing Medicare for remote patient monitoring, including updated 2024 payment rates for remote physiological monitoring (RPM) and remote therapeutic monitoring (RTM).
“Using a question-and-answer format, our white paper simplifies the ins and outs of the billable components of RPM and RTM, making it easier for providers to develop and deploy monitoring programs,” said PYA Principal and Director of the Center for Rural Health Advancement Martie Ross. “Providers slow to launch monitoring programs due to the complexity of reimbursement rules can feel more confident offering these services with this straightforward explanation of these rules.”
