PYA Discusses Cybersecurity and Rural Healthcare at Oklahoma Conference

Three PYA leaders will be presenting at the Oklahoma Hospital Association (OHA) Connect 23 statewide conference Nov. 29-Dec. 1. The conference is OHA’s annual event bringing together healthcare leaders from across the state.

On Day 1, PYA Principal Barry Mathis will partner with Phillip Smith, Insurica, to present a session on strategies for reducing and mitigating cyber risk. They will provide a state-of-the-industry update on the current cybersecurity threat facing health systems across the country as part of a new multi-state initiative designed to help hospitals better protect their organizations in the future. This initiative will be formally announced at the beginning of the conference.

A focus on rural healthcare on Day 2 will include a presentation by PYA Principal Martie Ross and Senior Manager Kathy Reep. They will discuss issues and give regulatory updates impacting rural hospitals, including telehealth, remote patient monitoring, rural emergency hospitals, price transparency, and Medicare Advantage.

PYA is a proud Platinum Underwriter for the Oklahoma Hospital Association.
