PYA Announces New Principals

PYA is pleased to announce the promotion of Brad Leskoven to Principal, as well as the addition of two new principals joining the firm this month: Rhonda Hampton and George “Deuce” Lukemeyer II.

Brad Leskoven has been promoted to Tax Principal and will continue to serve as the Director of Atlanta Tax Operations. With more than two decades of business advisory experience, Leskoven is responsible for developing and implementing specialized tax services for physician practices and other healthcare organizations. His expertise is in assisting clients with business structuring, mergers and acquisitions, ownership changes, succession planning, and compensation arrangements. Leskoven also has experience in providing estate and personal financial planning services to high-net-worth individuals and family offices. He has served clients across a range of industries, including professional services, real estate development, hospitality, and information technology.

Leskoven is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Georgia Society of CPAs. He holds a Master of Accountancy and Bachelor of Business Administration from Kennesaw State University.

Rhonda Hampton joined the firm as a Tax Principal earlier this month. She serves as the Director of State and Local Taxation. Hampton has nearly three decades of experience assisting clients as a state and local tax advisor. She is experienced in researching state and local tax issues and developing tax planning strategies. She has expertise in diligence reviews, nexus studies, audit and voluntary disclosure agreement negotiation, issues research, refund reviews, and other state tax consulting projects.

Hampton is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Tennessee Society of CPAs, and the Institute for Professionals in Taxation. She is a licensed CPA in the state of Tennessee and holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Tennessee.

George “Deuce” Lukemeyer II joined the firm as a Healthcare Consulting Principal. He has nearly three decades of experience with physician operations and compensation design. Through his work in health systems and physician enterprises, Lukemeyer assists PYA clients from a strategic, financial, tactical planning, and operational perspective. His extensive experience includes the development of integrated care delivery networks serving health systems and hospitals of all sizes and types, including safety-net county hospitals, major academic hospitals, Critical Access Hospitals, Federally Qualified Health Centers, and Rural Health Clinics.

Lukemeyer is a longstanding member of the MGMA. He has chaired multiple operational improvement committees and participated in academic practice group strategic planning and cost-based accounting analysis. He is a Certified Training Consultant for Ball State University Center for Entrepreneurial Resources and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from Indiana University.
