PYA, a leading healthcare consulting and certified public accounting firm, is pleased to announce the promotion of Mark Brumbelow to the role of Owner and Steven Ezell to the role of Tax Services Principal, as well as several other promotions within the firm. The promotions are effective July 1, 2021.
Brumbelow has nearly two decades of experience in assisting middle-market, private-equity-backed, and public companies. As a certified public accountant licensed in Tennessee, he has supported clients with federal and multi-state tax compliance needs and consulting engagements and has engaged in domestic tax reporting of both in-bound and out-bound international transactions. Brumbelow has experience in industries that include manufacturing, healthcare, construction and development, as well as transportation. He is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Tennessee Society of Certified Public Accountants.

Brumbelow holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Master of Accountancy from the University of Tennessee.
Ezell assists clients with high-quality tax compliance, income tax provision, and other consulting services for both public and privately held companies. He has extensive experience in implementing strategies in tax accounting methods, tangible property capitalization, inventory, and transaction cost analysis. Ezell joined PYA’s Nashville office in August 2020. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Tennessee Society of Certified Public Accountants.

Ezell holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Middle Tennessee State University and a Master of Business Administration from Lipscomb University.
