National Uniform Billing Committee—Overview and Update

The Allied Hospital Associations’ (A2HA) Accounting & Financial Specialist Fall 2019 Meeting took place September 22-24, 2019, in Baltimore, MD.  The event featured Medicare roundtable discussions, presentations from industry thought leaders, and networking receptions.

PYA is committed to providing timely education and insight to assist the hospital community and was eager to be involved in important discussions affecting hospitals.  PYA Senior Manager and long-time hospital industry expert Kathy Reep presented “National Uniform Billing Committee—Overview and Update,” which:

  • Provided an overview of the history of the National Uniform Billing Committee (NUBC).
  • Covered current issues under review or recently approved.
  • Stressed the importance of associations and other organizations monitoring the activities of the NUBC.
