“Healthcare in a Rural Environment: Ensuring Sustainable Care Delivery”

PYA Principal Mike Nichols will present at the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA) Annual Conference. The conference is themed “Find Your True North,” engaging attendees to rebuild, reconnect, and reignite, while examining the latest industry trends and best practices. Mike will present along with Mayo Clinic Health System Minnesota Interim Chief Financial Officer Praveen Mekala and Manager of Financial Planning and Analysis Mark Christopherson.

Attendees will be able to:

  • Describe an inventory of levers that can be deployed to improve ongoing financial performance and balance sheet health.
  • Introduce new ways of thinking about performance improvement and enhancement.
  • Use effective knowledge of Medicare cost reports and reimbursement levels available to improve financial performance.

The conference takes place November 8-10, 2021, in Minneapolis. Attendees can receive up to 14 CPE credits during live and virtual sessions.
