Lyle consults with hospitals, healthcare systems, physician practices, and other healthcare entities in the areas of physician and advanced practice provider compensation valuation and planning, commercial reasonableness, economic alignment models, and contract compliance. He also advises clients on other strategic, financial, and operational issues. Lyle has been a leader in PYA’s Compensation Valuation Planning and Design for more than 20 years. He regularly contributes to PYA’s thought leadership and led PYA’s efforts to produce seven chapters in the inaugural edition of the Business Valuation Resources/American Health Law Association Guide to Healthcare Industry Compensation and Valuation. He also helped to author the first peer-reviewed and nationally published white paper on determining commercial reasonableness in healthcare transactions.
Lyle earned a Master of Healthcare Administration with a finance concentration degree from the University of North Carolina and a Bachelor of Science in Biology degree from Wake Forest University. He is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives and the American College of Medical Practice Executives. Lyle is a member of the American Health Law Association and Medical Group Management Association. Locally, he volunteers his time to various community organizations.
