Katelyn leads PYA’s Teknovation initiative, connecting the firm to entrepreneurial activity, regional enhancement efforts, and business growth across East Tennessee. She is an award-winning journalist with more than five years of experience telling stories about economic development, business, policy, and energy in the region. The “HELP” culture at PYA resonates deeply with Katelyn’s values. She believes in relationship-driven storytelling, building communities, serving others, and staying civically engaged.
Katelyn earned a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism degree from Arizona State University’s Walter Cronkite School, where she was selected for the college’s inaugural Innovation Team. Since 2021, she has been a big sister with Big Brothers Big Sisters of East Tennessee, which she considers one of the most rewarding experiences in her life.
