PYA, a national professional services firm headquartered in Knoxville, has been awarded a 2018 Top Workplaces honor by the Knoxville News Sentinel. The award is a result of employee feedback detailing job satisfaction and career/life balance, among others.
PYA has been awarded a 2018 Top Workplaces honor by the Knoxville News Sentinel. The distinction is based solely on employee feedback gathered through an anonymous third-party survey that measures several aspects of workplace culture, including alignment, execution, and connection, to name a few.
“This recognition is such an honor, because it is a reflection of how our team members feel about PYA,” said PYA President Marty Brown. “Across the board, our professionals embody a culture of helpfulness to our clients and to each other. Our culture strives to develop servant leaders. This award is an acknowledgement that we are hiring the right people who share our core values, promote the Firm’s vision, and contribute to our entrepreneurial culture.”
The Top Workplaces employee survey was administered by Knoxville News Sentinel research partner Energage, LLC, a leading provider of technology-based employee engagement tools. According to Doug Claffey, CEO of Energage, “Top Workplaces is more than just recognition. Their leaders prioritize and carefully craft a healthy workplace culture that supports employee engagement.”
PYA celebrates a milestone 35-year business anniversary this year. In addition to the 2018 Top Workplaces honor, PYA was recently profiled in Accounting Today’s “Inside the Top 100—In-Depth Looks at Four of the Most Successful Firms in the Country” and was ranked 3rd highest percentage female ownership among the Top 100 Firms by INSIDE Public Accounting. It also is consistently ranked among the Top 20 healthcare consulting firms in the U.S. by Modern Healthcare.
