John has more than three decades of progressive information technology (IT) leadership experience with more than 20 years of that experience focused on supporting and guiding healthcare organizations with a commitment to exemplary service and relationship building. Through expertise gained in his roles as a chief information officer and senior IT executive, John advises, guides, and provides PYA clients with high-value technical advisory solutions.
John served as a Systems Programmer in the United States Marine Corps and is an honor graduate of the USMC Computer Sciences School. He earned a Master in Healthcare Leadership certificate and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science degree from Park University. He is certified in Criminal Justice Information Services from the Federal Bureau of Investigations. John is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives, Information Systems Audit and Control Association, and the Health Care Compliance Association.
