“It is an honor to be named a Health Care Hero, as well as to serve my community during a very difficult time in public health,” said Jay. “I hope that in my role as a public official I can continue to help our community as we work together to come out of the pandemic.”

Jay was elected as an at-large Knox County Commissioner in 2018 and was nominated Chairman in 2020. “As a county commissioner, Larsen sought ways to help protect the people of Knox County during the pandemic.
