In addition to straightforward explanations of those developments and actionable guidance, attendees will be offered the chance to earn continuing professional education units in selected sessions.

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) has issued several final Medicare rules affecting acute care hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, inpatient rehabilitation facilities, inpatient psychiatric facilities, and hospice providers across the country. These rules take effect October 1, 2026.

During this webinar, PYA Senior Managers Kathy Reep and Carine Leslie will review key provisions of the CMS FY 2027 final rules, including changes affecting Medicare payments and provider operations, potential impacts, and operational challenges for affected providers.

Kathy and Carine will discuss CMS changes related to:

  • Inpatient hospital services
  • Skilled nursing facility services
  • Inpatient rehabilitation facility services
  • Inpatient psychiatric facility services
  • Hospice services

This webinar is part of PYA’s Healthcare Regulatory Roundup, a popular series during which PYA experts provide practical insights on the latest industry regulatory developments.
