Thomas has more than two decades of experience assisting clients with financial reporting, accounting, and tax advisory needs. Thomas’s specialty is federal and multistate tax planning and compliance for individuals, corporations, partnerships/LLCs, and nonprofit organizations. He also oversees the preparation and submission of federal and state tax returns for these entities. Additionally, he is experienced in researching complex issues that have tax and business implications. With a concentration in strategic planning services, including due diligence and transaction advisory services, he is well-prepared to assist clients across multiple industries.
Thomas earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, and a Master of Accountancy from the University of Tennessee. He holds a Master of Business Administration in Management Information Systems from Tennessee Technological University and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) licensed in the state of Tennessee. He is also a Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA).
Thomas is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and is a continuous Chair, Education Committee, and past-President of the Tennessee Society of Certified Public Accountants-Knoxville Chapter.
