PYA Joins HLB’s Global Advisory and Accounting Network

PYA, a leading healthcare consulting and certified public accounting firm, is pleased to announce its membership in HLB, a global advisory and accounting network.

PYA has announced it has accepted HLB’s appointment to join its international network of independent advisory and accounting firms.  Through this relationship, PYA will be able to leverage the expertise of a global, multi-disciplinary team of thought leaders to further support clients and their initiatives, while continuing to serve current and future clients with a culture of helpfulness and collaboration.

“Ranked as a Top 20 Healthcare Consulting Firm and Top 100 Accounting Firm in the U.S., PYA is an important addition to HLB’s global coverage and will have a great impact on our North American network by enhancing its healthcare industry-wide expertise,” said HLB CEO Marco Donzelli.

As an independent member of the HLB Network, PYA’s private ownership structure will remain unchanged.

“Membership in HLB enhances our ability to serve clients because it allows us to tap into additional audit, accounting, and tax resources that span the globe,” said PYA Managing Principal of Audit & Assurance Services Mike Shamblin.  “For example, through HLB, PYA has already received referrals to assist an Italian-based company looking to do business in Tennessee, as well as an opportunity to collaborate with a west-coast HLB-network firm to assist it with an ambulatory surgery center project.  This collaboration allows us to share expertise and best practices with other HLB-network firms and leverage experience throughout the network, as needed, to better assist our clients.”

With more than 250 member firms, HLB is becoming one of the world’s leading accountancy networks.  Like PYA, HLB is founded on building trusted relationships based on the client’s specific needs.

“We are honored that HLB identified PYA as a firm that would align with its goals for growth in the U.S.,” said Shamblin.  “Our client-centric focus based on long-term client relationships fits well with HLB’s goals.  We are excited about the opportunities this membership affords our clients and how we can assist other member firms with their client needs.”
