PYA Principal Carol Carden continues to shine as a member of the American Health Lawyers Association (AHLA) Women’s Leadership Council. Not only has Carol been appointed to serve as a member of the council for the fourth year in a row, she has been asked to assume the role of Chairperson. She will lead the council in responsibilities that include monitoring the Women’s Network Forum, coordinating networking events, identifying professional development opportunities, and assisting in making members’ involvement in the Association more satisfying.
Carden specializes in valuation consulting services, primarily in the healthcare industry. Her key areas of expertise are in finance, valuation, managed care, and revenue cycle operations for healthcare organizations. Her work has included performing appraisals of businesses and securities for a wide variety of purposes such as mergers, acquisitions, estate planning, and commercial litigation matters. She also has led hundreds of fair market value compensation projects. She often is called upon to speak at national conferences, summits, and seminars.
