Ready or Not? Compliance in a World of New Models

healthcare complianceBridging the rocky waters of healthcare is the “Golden Gate” of educational healthcare programming–the 2017 American Health Lawyers Association (AHLA) Annual Meeting in San Francisco, California.  The event will address topics of timely focus including healthcare plans in flux under the Affordable Care Act, Medicare’s shift from volume to value-based payments, and payment model transitions.  An ongoing supporter of AHLA, PYA is pleased to sponsor and exhibit at this important event.  We also look forward to more dialogue with attendees, and we will present on topics of relevance to today’s healthcare leaders.

PYA Consulting Manager Kristen Lilly will co-present “Ready or Not? Compliance in a World of New Models,” along with Fatema Zanzi, Esq., from Drinker Biddle & Reath.

In the presentation, they will:

  • Discuss strategies for preventing, detecting, and enforcing basic compliance principles in a world of new models, such as accountable care organizations, bundled payments, and more.
  • Evaluate compliance considerations for new model drivers, such as quality and data analytics.
  • Explore incentive arrangements with patients.
  • Discuss how culture, quality, and human resources play a role in compliance.

The Meeting takes place June 26-28, 2017. Learn more and register.
