Susan will present “In the Patient’s Best Interest: New HIPAA Guidance and the Opioid Crisis,” which will:

  • Examine the new HIPAA guidance.
  • Discuss how the guidance relates to mental health conditions and the opioid crisis.
  • Outline how to provide treatment to incapacitated patients, while protecting their privacy.
