PYA Principal Dr. Kent Bottles, who is also PYA Analytics’ Chief Medical Officer, will give the keynote address at the Healthcare Business Intelligence Summit September 19, 2013, at the McNamara Alumni Center in Minneapolis. Bottles will discuss four key trends affecting the American healthcare delivery system: the Affordable Care Act ( ACA ), the digital revolution, big data, and social media. He will look at how these trends together affect the way hospitals, providers, payers, employers, and government agencies adapt to the changing healthcare environment.
The Summit will cover breaking trends and critical developments in the healthcare industry, including data management changes mandated by the ACA, and will host a series of hands-on workshops exploring the aspects of business intelligence for healthcare.
