PYA executives will speak June 12, 2013, at the Heart of America HIMSS chapter event: Value Based Payments—Changing the Landscape of HIT, held at Johnson County Community College in Overland Park, Kansas.
PYA Principal Martie Ross will take center stage for the keynote address on “The ABCs of Value Based Purchasing for CIOs.” This session will introduce emerging payment models and identify the key competencies required to thrive in the new healthcare environment with a focus on information management.
Representing PYA’s newest affiliate, PYA Analytics President and CEO Brian Worley will discuss “Data Analytics—HIT’s Role is Key.” Brian will speak about required data and how it is needed and managed, what CMS will be expecting in terms of data reporting, security, data storage and integrity, data transmission and encryption.
