PYA Congratulates RTG’s Michael Honeycutt on CCIM Designation

Michael Honeycutt, Vice President of Realty Trust Group, LLC (RTG), an affiliate of Pershing Yoakley & Associates, has been awarded the prestigious CertifiedCommercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation by the CCIM Institute.

Pershing Yoakley & Associates (PYA) congratulates affiliate company, RTG, a healthcare real estate advisory firm, on Vice President Michael Honeycutt’s recent industry distinction as a top commercial real estate professional. Honeycutt is among the top 146 such professionals granted the distinguished CCIM designation. He was honored with this accolade during the CCIM Midyear Meeting in Chicago, Illinois, March 24, 2015.

PYA President Marty Brown said, “We would like to acknowledge Michael’s dedication to the commercial real estate industry. Through his work at RTG, he brings great value primarily to healthcare clients as they navigate the complexities of real estate. As an affiliate of PYA, RTG works closely with healthcare organizations, guiding them through strategic real estate decisions. Michael’s CCIM designation demonstrates that commitment to best serving the healthcare industry.”

CCIM designation requires successful completion of a graduate-level curriculum, a portfolio of pertinent industry experience and credentials, and attainment of a passing score on the CCIM Institute’s Comprehensive Examination. The curriculum involves immersion in the foundations of commercial real estate investment, which include financial analysis, market analysis, user decision analysis, and investment analysis. Holding a CCIM designation signifies that an individual is a recognized expert in all aspects of commercial real estate, including brokerage, leasing, asset management, valuation, and analysis.

“It is an honor to receive the CCIM designation. It allows us to further demonstrate our firm’s capabilities, ensuring a high level of service and real estate expertise to our clients,” said Honeycutt.

Honeycutt earned a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Tennessee in 2004, joining RTG the following year. Since then, he has worked on a wide variety of healthcare real estate engagements serving health systems, community hospitals, and physician practices. His healthcare real estate advisory experience spans inpatient/acute care, outpatient cancer centers, surgery centers, and ambulatory medical facilities and includes strategic real estate network and facility planning, fair market value and commercial reasonableness opinions, hospital/physician lease transactions, land transactions, and property management support and related operational initiatives.

RTG has been a leader in real estate advisory since 1998, assisting hospitals, health systems, physician groups, owners, users, and healthcare real estate investors. The firm offers portfolio optimization and monetization, project development services, strategic facility planning, property management, and fair market value opinions.
