PYA Applauds Its Women Executives in National Leadership Roles

It is with great pleasure that PYA announces the selection of two executives to national leadership responsibilities.

PYA Principal Carol Carden has been named Chairperson of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants Executive Committee for Forensic and Valuation Services. The 11-member committee determines technical policies and serves as the association’s voice on forensic and valuation matters. She assumes office October 1.

In addition to being a Certified Public Accountant, Carden is a Certified Fraud Examiner, an Accredited Senior Appraiser and is Accredited in Business Valuation. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting degree from Western Kentucky University.

Consulting Manager Joanna Malcolm, who was recently selected as a committee member of the Atlanta Chapter of Public Policy for the Case Management Society of America (CMSA), has now been elected to the national committee as a Georgia member. She will travel to Washington, DC, at the end of October to speak with Congressional representatives about case management and healthcare concerns. Joanna is one of ten National Public Policy Committee members out of an organization with 75 CMSA chapters.

Malcolm holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Brenau University and is a Registered Nurse and Certified Case Manager.
