General Consulting Senior or Manager

Description:

The candidate must be a dedicated team leader, possess advanced written and oral communication skills, and consistently demonstrate integrity within a professional environment. He/she will be part of a multi-disciplinary team that provides advice to healthcare provider clients on matters related to finance, strategic planning, operations, organizational structure, managed care, quality, productivity and other delivery/business systems and processes. This position will be based in Knoxville, TN or Atlanta, GA.

Requirements:

Candidates must possess an undergraduate degree in business (preferably finance or accounting) or the healthcare field and may possess a master's degree in business or healthcare. Qualified candidates will have five or more years experience working as a healthcare consultant and/or financial auditor, preferably with a Big Four firm, and possess a particular skill set to meet client needs. Candidates must be able to supervise multiple client assignments simultaneously. Excellent oral and written communication skills are required. Candidates must show demonstrated success in leading multi-disciplinary project teams along with a high degree of skill in creating and conducting presentations.

The candidate will:

  • Demonstrate a thorough understanding of financial, operational, and healthcare issues and apply this knowledge to client situations
  • Use extensive knowledge of client's industry to identify relevant trends, developments and key performance drivers and communicate this information to client management
  • Demonstrate excellent project management skills, inspire teamwork and responsibility among engagement team members and use current technology and tools to enhance the effectiveness of deliverables and service
  • Understand the Firm and its service lines and actively assess what the firm can deliver to bring value to clients
  • Generate new business opportunities by developing ideas and solutions to present to clients perform administrative role within the department including scheduling, staff mentoring and training, and billing and collections
