Payer Trends—Key Insights from PYA Providers

The goal of the Washington Ambulatory Surgery Center Association (WASCA) is to provide opportunities for education, resources for legal information, legislative advocacy, and assistance with operational issues relevant to the ambulatory surgery industry.  In keeping with that vision, WASCA will hold its Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) Symposium July 26, 2018, in Seattle, WA.  The Symposium will offer industry members an opportunity to learn from, and network with, industry experts from across the country.  Additionally, they will discuss current and critical business, legal, and regulatory impacts specific to ASCs in the Pacific Northwest.

PYA Principal Robert Paskowski will lead a discussion on “Payer Trends—Key Insights from PYA Providers,” which covers:

  • Overall national trends
  • Hospital v. ASC comparisons
  • ASC “value pitch” to payers
  • Price transparency—defining price
